Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Our bodies have natural flows and rhythms...our heartbeat, breath, blood flow, digestion, flow of the spinal fluid and, a subtle expansion and contraction of the whole body. With slow and light touch, I am able to connect to the body and feel where there are areas of constriction, misalignment, blockages, things being held. Those can be related to injuries, trauma-physical and emotional, unprocessed emotions, stress, posture, etc. While there is still a structural component, my sessions tend to focus on working with the nervous system and body to help identify the roots of what is bringing you in, while helping support you and your body. This can be through identifying unprocessed emotions, generational patterns, parts work...whatever is needed and comes up in session. This is a body-led practice and not about forcing, but allowing the body to relax, release and realign.
Who would benefit from craniosacral?
Well...Everyone!!! The clients I work with most though are the ones that are dealing with anxiety, depression, C-PTSD, PTSD, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, autoimmune diseases. The clients who know they need something but not sure what, that feel disconnected from themselves and/or their bodies, or the ones that have tried everything with little change.
What is a session like?
Sessions are 60 minutes, and the client remains fully clothed. The touch is very light and the practioners hand movements are very slow and deliberate. Clients usually fall asleep and feel very calm and relaxed after a session. It may take a couple days to truly start to feel the change and benefits of the treatment.
For clients under 18, please contact us before booking.
Sessions also available via Zoom with more flexibility with scheduling-reach out if you don't see a time that works for you!
